PHASE II (2008-10)

College Readiness Teams

Two of Washington’s top educators in the fields of English and science served as Phase 2 team leaders (2008 - 2009).  Dr. Bill Condon, former Director of Writing Programs at Washington State University, and Dr. George Nelson, Director of Science, Mathematics and Technology Education, Western Washington University, led the English and science teams respectively. 

In 2009 - 2010, Dr. Bill Condon leads the English pilot teams. Dr. George Nelson, working with U.S. Department of Education Title II funding, continues to work with Mount Vernon High School teachers. Dr. Jennifer Sorensen, Director of Seattle University's General Science Program, assumes lead for the Eatonville High School Pilot.
